      Personality
    Arrogant: Dottore has always been a very arrogant man that is set in his ways. As a scholar in the Akademiya, he tells a god he doesn't need his gift.
 
Proud: He is very proud of the fact that he is a scholar, going so far as to point that out often in conversation.
Manipulative: In Tatarasuna, he manipulates Niwa and the others into trusting him. He has them believe that the forge is more efficient and to their benefit when actually it's volatile and causing harm to people.

Supercilious: He is critical of people representing themselves as scholars or intellectuals when they do not meet his standards.

Aloof: He is aloof to a certain extent.  He isn't shy or as reserved, but he's not an easy person to interact with casually if there's no purpose. He will definitely have a reason for reaching out to someone, or think of some benefit to a conversation, whether that's information or ideas for experiments. That being said, trying to flirt with him isn't going to land well.  His priority is always going to be his research and afterwards his duty to the Tsaritsa. 

Amoral: He has no qualms engaging in unethical experiments on humans (children included). He turned his deceased subordinate into an automaton of sorts.

Patient: The omega build (which is the one I will usually default to) states he has an abundance of patience.  This is evident in how he carefully plots and executes his plans, sometimes taking years to complete.

Pragmatic: He views everything through a logical lens and when presented with a problem, will find and offer a solution whether solicited or not.

      headcanons
    • He smells like the specific antiseptic soap that is purchased in bulk by hospitals. He uses this for handwashing. He uses a similar commercially bulk purchased soap for bathing as well.  Basically he smells like a hospital at all times with a slight hint of leather from his gloves and harness.

• I view him as aro/ace, but for rp purposes he will indulge. It will still take time to build up to anything since he doesn't generally trust people, but even letting his guard down will not make him soft, affectionate, or romantic.

• He cuts his own hair because he doesn't trust people and it's more efficient to do so at his convenience anyway. Speaking of his hair, it's ridiculously soft.

• (this one is a joke) His earring contains Powerade Mountain Berry Blast because when he was in the desert after being expelled, thirst and dehydration was his main concern before Pierro found him.

• Although he was chased out from his village and expelled from the Akademiya, he still identifies as Sumerian and longs to be accepted by his homeland.  It is a sore point for him. Things he ate while in the Akademiya are comfort foods for him now.  He likes eating biryani when feeling homesick. He also enjoys coffee and baklava.

• He can cook and bake but rarely does so. He obviously is the type of cook that takes the scientific approach to recipes. He discovered this skill while bored and hungry one day.

• This one is pretty much canon, but he and his segments, although technically the same person, do not see eye to eye. Zandik, the original him from the Akademiya seemed to be mature and focused for his age, but even then there is a rashness to him that he grew out of with age.  The most notably dynamic segment is Webby. Webby is impatient and irritable at times, while also being ecstatic and goofy.

• Has scars under his mask, not excessive or grotesque, but noticeable.

Regarding segments:

• Zandik - The youngest segment we've seen (though his English VA has said he was told there's a 10 yr old segment). We've not seen Zandik animated, just a still image, but he's described as arrogant and hateful. I don't think he's hateful in general, it's just reserved for the gods. This is a value he carries through life. His actions may come off as cold, but he just takes the most logical approach to things. He's not sentimental, another trait that he carries through the ages. This segment I view as being around 17-18. I will not do smut with this segment.

• Webttore (Webby): Some people designate him as the beta or delta segment, I prefer the latter but I will usually just use Webby or Webttore. This segment is the one we see in the Webtoon. He shows two very distinct and different sides of himself, though it can be argued that they are two separate segments. I'll generally write Webby as a single segment. On one hand Webby is grumpy and irritable. He's quick to anger and has no patience for his subordinates and their failures. He will threaten them when in this mood.  He is shown stomping off while scowling in this mood, almost as if throwing a fit. On the other hand, he comes off as quite silly. He gets overly happy or ecstatic when making observations.  This is the segment that uses the "haha hehe hoho" line. He also goes on to describe his deceased subordinate as strong, beautiful, and perfect once he repurposes him into an automaton. Webby is also the most expressive going from wide grins, deep scowls, and completely blank expressions. He also appears to become bored or disinterested easily. I hc this segment as around 21. He would be difficult to seduce since he is so all over the place, but this segment is truly vers.

• Omega build: This is the segment seen in game (specifically the one in Sumeru). We know Boattore (the one that waves at the traveler from the boat) was a separate segment. Hence the I left Sumeru line. Omega goes back to being more serious than Webby. Though his arrogance is more apparent. Him being the most selfish segment is probably the reason he was the one that went to Sumeru, since in general I view Dottore as wanting to go back to his homeland. This segment I view as around late 30s. He is vers, but leans more towards topping.

• Boattore: I can write this segment separate from Omega build. He speaks with a softer more even tone of voice. He is still arrogant but doesn't come off as obvious. This segment will event smile. Boattore will also tend to be a bit more agreeable too. Same age as Omega build, idk if I'd write smut with this one.  If I did he'd be more vers than Omega.

• God Dottore (Boss form): There isn't much I hc differently for this version.  I'm pretty sure this is Omega build that achieved this and not Prime/funeral/Lazzo Dottore. Either way, this form I'd say is 206 cm or 6'9". He also appears a bit more built in in this form as well. This one is same age range as Omega, less vers than them as well. 

• Funeral/Lazzottore/Prime: I view this one as the oldest segment. If there is any other segment still alive, it's this one. He still possesses that arrogance, but doesn't seem as haughty. I think this one is the master planner and the one pulling the strings. He just doesn't take an active role. I don't think he makes himself known after the events in Sumeru, and likely lays low in some lab that Dottore built in Snezhnaya. This one I'd say is maybe mid to late 40s. He'd be more difficult to build up with.
